The UCL Department of Neuromuscular Diseases has a position available for a Research Fellow: We are seeking a research fellow to support genetic and biomarker studies in neuromuscular diseases, with focus on inherited neuropathies and repeat expansion diseases. You will mainly use patient genetic data, including state-of-the art long read sequencing and optical genome mapping, biomarker data, with the additional possibility to work with iPSC-derived neurons, to increase the diagnostic yield on unsolved neuromuscular diseases and develop therapies. The post can be tailored according to the applicant's interest and expertise in wet lab or dry lab.
