We released Spaces last week, and have already been shipping updates based on your feedback. Here’s what’s improved: 1. File Uploads on Spaces for Free Users: We're opening up file uploads on Spaces to free users, too. Free users can upload up to five documents per space. 2. Enhanced Custom Instructions: The Spaces AI assistant now more accurately follows your custom instructions, applying them consistently across all threads in your Space. 3. AI Model Usage Indicator: You can now easily see which model (like GPT-4) is used in a Space to answer your query, thanks to a clear indicator in the Space configuration banner. 4. Expanded File Type Support: You can now upload markdown files (.md / .markdown) to Perplexity. 5. Improved Org File Repo Access: Admins can now easily access the Enterprise organization file repository with an entry point directly from the homepage search UI. 6. Improved Spaces Overviews: Spaces overview cards now display more information, helping you find the Space you're looking for more easily. 7. Smoother Spaces Invitations: We’ve improved the Spaces collaborator invite experience so that clicking the email invite link takes you straight into the Space.
