  • PCCS’ main building (150 Granite Ave.) will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2024. We will reopen to our regular business hours on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Person Centered Care Services observes Wellness Day on the second Monday of October annually. This day serves as a reminder that taking care of ourselves is not just a personal responsibility, but a vital part of fostering a positive and productive workplace. Wellness encompasses a variety of aspects, including physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and social connections. Here are a few ways to prioritize your wellness: Take Breaks: Take a time to recharge. Even a few minutes of stretching or a quick walk can make a difference. Stay Active: Incorporate movement into your daily routine. Whether it’s a quick workout, yoga session, or simply walking during lunch, staying active is key. Practice Mindfulness: Consider integrating mindfulness techniques, such as meditation or deep-breathing exercises, into your day to help reduce stress. Let’s use this Wellness Day as an opportunity to reflect on our well-being and commit to making it a priority not just today, but every day. Together, we can cultivate a healthier and more fulfilling workplace for everyone.
