Today is Miracle Treat Day!🍦 A cause near and dear to our home communities, our employees are proud to support this delicious fundraiser each year hosted by our partner of nearly 10 years, Dairy Queen! Fun fact: the Dairy Queen in Madison, South Dakota, also home to one of our manufacturing facilities, has made record-breaking amounts of blizzards on Miracle Treat Day, selling more than 500,000 since 2006 and over 32,000 during the event alone in 2023!🍦 For every blizzard sold, $1 or more will be donated to local children’s hospitals through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. These donations provide critical funding for life-saving treatments and essential services for kids in need. It's National Drive-Thru Day!🎉 Did you know that America's first drive-thru was opened in 1947 at Red's Giant Hamburg along Route 66 in Springfield, MO? Fun fact - at the time, the sign couldn't accommodate the space for the extra 'er' needed to spell out hamburger, so the owner decided to drop the extra letters and go with "Hamburg" instead!🍔 Nearly 80 years later, the drive-thru is a prominent feature of most quick serve restaurants and a convenience enjoyed by millions worldwide!
