It was our privilege to participate in Pflugerville ISD first #HopePfest helping our students get ready for the coming school year. Families were able to learn about services, get free haircuts, health checks, and pick up much needed school supplies. Special thank you to the Pfoundation's generous donors Manos de Cristo and Pastrana & Garcia Injury Law. Their support allowed the Pflugerville Education Foundation to pass out over 2000 backpacks 🎒 to our students that need them most. Additionally, a big thank you to Brown Distributing Company for providing over 1400 cans of water to keep attendees hydrated!! 🥤💧 It was an inspiring example of when we help our community, we build our community. #backtoschool #txed

A week ago the Pflugerville Education Foundation hosted a special Fireside Chat 🔥☕ for our board, sponsors and luminary supporters with our newly elected President, Staci Young, and the new Superintendent of Pflugerville ISD Dr. Quintin Shepherd. This was an opportunity to ask Dr. Shepherd about his vision for working closely with the Foundation and its goals to support the teachers and students of the district.
