Brandon's story is a testament to the power of rehabilitation, belonging to a community, and second chances. We are so grateful to God for the Prison Fellowship Academy’s positive impact on the lives of incarcerated individuals.

Encountering Jesus with those in prison.
About us
Prison Fellowship® trains and inspires churches and communities—inside and outside of prison—to support the restoration of those affected by incarceration. We equip correctional leaders, volunteers, and incarcerated men and women to make prisons more rehabilitative places; we advocate for a more restorative criminal justice system; and we collaborate with churches and local service providers to support former prisoners, their families, and their communities. Seek justice. Love mercy. Restore hope. Interested in volunteering with us? Please visit our Take Action page: http://bit.ly/356fJE8 ============== Prison Fellowship is a national, nonprofit organization founded in 1976 by former Nixon aide Charles Colson. Colson was incarcerated for Watergate-related charges and could not forget those he had left behind prison walls. He launched Prison Fellowship to give prisoners the opportunity to experience the radically transforming power of Christ that he had already experienced. “There are different fences here that aren’t around my church, right? But we’re all the same family. When I come into this chapel, it feels just like my home church,” says Nate, pastor of Life.Church, at a recent Prison Fellowship Hope Event at Joseph Harp Correctional Center in Oklahoma.

Ashley overcame substance abuse and encountered life changes through the Prison Fellowship Academy. Now, she maximizes her second chance by pouring into the lives of other women. In February 2021, Ashley was baptized at her church as a public expression of her faith in Jesus. She graduated from a licensed peer recovery support specialist program and is still involved with Prison Fellowship. See her inspiring story below!
