In celebration of our 10th anniversary, phactMI board member Marie-Ange Noué, PhD fondly described phactMI's accomplishments—and future: "Time flies indeed—phactMI is hitting a remarkable decade-long milestone this year. It's a moment of celebration, reflection, and great pride for all of us who have been part of this incredible journey. From the moment I became involved as my organizations member representative, to joining the Board of Directors as Secretary, and now as Vice President, with the prospect of serving as the next President, my experience with phactMI has been nothing short of transformative. The organization's commitment to providing a one stop shop for delivering credible, current drug information to healthcare professionals has resonated deeply with my own values and has been a significant factor in my growth. My tenure with phactMI has enriched me professionally, allowing me to contribute to publications and engage in discussions that amplify our voice in the pharmaceutical industry. Our Canadian PVN-MI network, which I co-chair, has been inspired by PhactMI’s bold commitment, enhancing the way we disseminate medical information and strengthening our industry-wide collaboration. Reflecting on a standout memory, I am brought back to our panel discussions highlighting year over year groundbreaking digital progresses and how PhactMI is leading in this space, underscoring the power of our collective expertise. It is through our strong network of Medical Information experts that we've built a foundation of trust and reliability. As we gear up for the celebratory activities culminating in our live Q4 event, I am reminded that our success is not just measured by the information we provide, but by the enduring relationships and collaborative spirit that drive our mission forward. Here's to the decade behind us and the many more to come, filled with shared endeavors and continued dedication to healthcare excellence." #medicalinformation #medinfo #collaboration #workanniversary #druginfo

Medical Information Professionals rely heavily on the ability to identify the most up-to-date, relevant, and reputable evidence in order to effectively provide accurate and unbiased responses to healthcare professionals’ inquiries. Providing access to the latest abstract data presented at medical conferences and not yet found in PubMed or other databases may afford Medical Information Professionals a more complete and up-to-date source of evidence for the development of Scientific Response Documents (SRDs). On November 6, 2013, 25 Medical Information leaders from 18 pharmaceutical companies came together at BMS in Plainsboro, NJ to engage in a roundtable dialogue about potential cross-industry collaboration. We recently revisited the discussion notes and outputs from that unprecedented meeting. The collective goal was to develop an organization that addressed alignment across the industry to deliver potential solutions for overall better patient care and deliver an action plan on moving forward on a collaborative, cross-company solution, called the Drug Information Database, open to all US Healthcare Professionals. Months later, phactMI was formed. Today, all of those goals are now phactMI’s reality. #medicalinformation #medinfo #pharma #medicalaffairs #druginformation
