Below is the link to my 6th and final installment of "Who Moved My Prescription". The point of the series was that the face of Retail Pharmacy has changed significantly in the last 10 years and it is directly impacting the lack of success with non-Specialty Branded prescriptions. Pharmacies lose significant dollars on branded prescriptions and generics no longer offer enough margin to subsidize those losses. Consequently launching a non-Specialty branded Rx is incredibly difficult. Our clients are experiencing 50% front end abandonment on all non-100 products. Products with NDC blocks, PAs, and Step Edits are struggling. We'll be discussing this intently at the 10/14 conference. We have some of the best minds in Retail gathering to figure out the path forward. Thanks again for Pharmaceutical Commerce and their support to shine the light on this very important topic. For 2025 we'll focus on "Popping the Gross To Net Bubble".

📹 At this year’s LogiPharma USA conference in Boston, a panel titled “Conveying Key Goals and Strategies Across the Value Chain,” discussed how collaborating with distributors and other logistical partners takes consistent and clear communication across the vast systems and networks that the pharmaceutical industry operates in. In an interview with Pharma Commerce, Lucy Alexander, capabilities lead, global supply chain and strategy, AstraZeneca, and a participant of the panel, offered a synopsis of the panel and spoke of challenges in communication across the value chain.
