Happening Now Day 1 at the Population Health Alliance Innovation Summit: A great panel titled "Advancing Senior Health Through Innovative Strategies" with Rose Maljanian, Mary Beth Donahue, Wyatt Decker, M.D., MBA, and Chris Jagmin. Some of the key points: -Most seniors can get good care in a crisis...but our system doesn't reward preventive care. -Medicare Advantage is growing because seniors seek accessible, system-based, high-quality care. -Identifying and managing social isolation as seniors age in place is critical. -Increase care in the home and make it easier to age in place - though this is currently too dependent on financial status. -Leverage innovative, yet simple, technology to support people in their homes. -Improve access to care through telehealth and devices that have proven effective. -Scaling innovation can be challenging - but it is happening. #innovation #healthIT #aginginplace #medicare
