We are pleased to announce the extension of our partnership with Prime Energy (Prime Energy Resources Development B.V.). This extension reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional safety, service, and collaboration. Under this renewed agreement, we will continue to operate two AW139 helicopters from our El Nido base in the Philippines, providing essential support to Prime Energy’s Malampaya Project offshore facilities. These helicopters will facilitate offshore crew changes and medical evacuation services, ensuring operational continuity and safety. Our partnership with Prime Energy has been marked by mutual respect and a shared dedication to excellence. Together, we have contributed to the success of the Malampaya Project, which plays a significant role in the Philippines' energy sector by reducing oil imports and meeting a significant portion of the country’s energy needs. Cory Latiolais, CSP, PHI’s Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer, mentions: “I would like to take a moment to recognise our team for their hard work through the years. PHI looks forward to continuing this journey together, as we are committed to delivering exceptional service and safe flight operations.”

Under the new Joint Air Transport Services Agreement (JATSA), we are excited to announce a five-year contract renewal effective from 1st May 2024, through to 30th April 2029. This renewal will see PHI Aviation continuing to operate two AW139’s helicopters from our New Plymouth base, serving offshore facilities in the Taranaki basin.   Since 2009, PHI has provided successful shared transport services in Taranaki, with a legacy dating back to 1968 in offshore oil and gas support. New Plymouth will continue to serve as the primary transport hub for workers in the offshore Taranaki gas field, solidifying its pivotal role in our operations. This renewal signifies not only the continuation of our partnership but also our shared values and aspirations. Here's to our ongoing success and the continued legacy of the JATSA between OMV and Beach Energy Ltd.   The success of executing this new long-term contract aligns with PHI APAC's strategic direction, reinforcing our commitment as the trusted name in rotary flight for our people and partners.
