  • Join us for the Arcadia Library Lecture: Looking at Ardrossan Through the Archives with David Nelson Wren on October 30. Based on his book Ardrossan: The Last Great Estate on the Philadelphia Main Line (2017), David Nelson Wren offers a unique and fascinating chronicle of the history and art collection of Ardrossan, and life with the Montgomery family during a different day and age. This iconic, early-twentieth-century estate is intrinsically tied to the PMA. Wren's talk and book are vividly brought into full focus by family letters and photographs, some of which are now in the museum archives. The book Ardrossan: The Last Great Estate on the Philadelphia Main Line will be available for purchase and signing by the author, following the talk. Free event, reservations required.
