Our power infrastructure must be reliable, modern, and resilient. P&J connects alternative energy resources to the grid, providing turnkey transmission line construction that ensures that our communities have safe, reliable energy. With more utilities setting clean energy targets in the near future, we do the work from foundation to wires, to help them meet their goals.

Coal-fired plants produce sensitive byproducts, and traditional ash pond disposal methods can pose a risk to water sources and the environment. As alternative sources of energy are developed, these facilities require safe, complex methods of closure, including dredging and specialized disposal facilities. P&J supports our nation's energy transition by providing cutting edge services that help power plants safely store or dispose of coal combustion residuals, keeping our water sources and communities healthy.

P&J has been in the business of modernizing and maintaining critical infrastructure throughout the United States for over 70 years. Our projects lay the groundwork for new alternative energy projects, connecting them to the grid, and ensuring grid reliability. We built our legacy on heavy civil site preparation, and we've been applying these skills and capabilities to the renewables market for decades, including solar sites like these.

As manager of this forensic recovery project, P&J was one of many contractors and responders who came together to help the City of New York recover from this tragedy. We will never forget the service of our team members and everyone else involved over this months-long effort. It is one of our proudest moments to have been able to lend support in a time when it mattered most.

Phillips & Jordan’s involvement in the World Trade Center forensic recovery project is one of the many reasons I wear the P&J logo with pride. Very proud to be a part of an organization that contributed to the clean up of such a tragic event that occurred in my home town. 9-11-2001, May we never forget.

Did you know that the construction industry has the second highest suicide rate in the U.S. with over 12% of all suicides involving construction workers? As a People First company, P&J is a proud sponsor of Construction Suicide Prevention Week 2024. During this week, we will raise awareness that every death is one death too many. On Monday, September 9th, P&J will hold a moment of silence to remember those we’ve lost and commit to preventing further loss of life. Every life matters, and together, we can make a difference.
