The Philosophical Symbolic System by Lorenzo Rizzelli promotes a philosophy based on the absolute reject of violence.

About us

Philosophical Symbolic System by Lorenzo Rizzelli is a cultural project aimed at emphasising the cruciality of the reject of violence and the control of negative instincts and emotions. In addition, the specific function of the system is to stress a message that would appear weak if solely expressed through ordinary language. Established in 2002, the system was made up of 18 symbols standing for different categories of evil and oppositions to ethical negativity. The mentioned cruciality may be realised in the structure of positive symbolic fusions made up of a negative basis and a positive opposing force. Between 2002 and 2005, the creation of 81 symbolic groups attested to the development of the core ethical field into other knowledge spheres such as (primarily) metaphysics and theology and (secondarily) psychology, pedagogy and linguistics. Strikingly, the key purpose of the system (persuading mankind to give up evil) powerfully emerges in symbolic groups focused on themes such as the never-ending time and the preservation of positive infantile qualities in adulthood. Since 2012, the symbolic system has been evolving into a philosophical constructed language, characterised by the presence of original grammatical aspects, such as symbolic divisors and new verbal tenses. The constructed language aims to make people perceive the theme of the reject of violence as less abstract and more connected to their everyday life experience compared to the cold arrangement of symbols and symbolic groups. The main difference between natural languages and the philosophical constructed language resides in the fact that the former focus on human communication on every aspect of human life whereas the latter solely concentrates on the reject of evil. In light of this, reject of evil is a contingent aspect in natural languages but an immanent one in the philosophical language. The project is thoroughly illustrated in the fundamental work entitled "The human spirit in a new light.

  • The majestic symbolic group of the struggle against terminal diseases: Comparison between 2015 versus 2005 The symbolic group standing for the extreme fight against terminal diseases is one of the gems of the philosophical system, in terms of philosophical depth and creative effort. It is the double emphasis (right arrow) of the symbol of mental isolation from evil (circle with point at its center). The simple emphasis of this symbol instead represents the concept of “any positive activity characterized by sacrifice and dedication that makes feel the individual proud of him/herself”. The table below shows the progression from the symbol of meditation (or mental isolation from evil) to its double emphasis. This table summarizes the information reported on my philosophical book (page 21). Although the work was published in 2020, the content related to the struggle against terminal diseases dates back to 2015. • In Italian/English or other languages, if I say “the child perseveres in his/her hobbies”, the concept of non violence is absent. By contrast, in my symbolic language, the concept of non violence is within the symbolic chain translating the words “child”, “persevere” and “hobbies”. These are just three words but I might mention also other words embodying non violence in my symbolic language. So if non violence is immanent in the symbolic expression, this means that it is within the individual all the time. If in a hypothetical language most words involve the concept of non violence, this means that this concept is expressed by us from the moment in which we get up in the morning until the moment we go to bed in the night. Just to provide an incredibly and astonishingly effective example, thinking non violence in this kind of language is like our “breathing the air”, “blood flowing in our body” or “our heartbeat”. I mentioned these examples because, as you can notice, these are events that accompany us in our life every single second. So the philosophical symbolic system and its related language assume that thinking of non violence should be exactly the same as breathing the air, the blood flowing or the heartbeat. Can you imagine what would happen in a kind of society in which non violence is internalized in this way? I do not think that people can speak a language whose structure is based on non violence and then they end up killing or raping someone.
