We doubled the revenue in one of our companies. It was a reminder of the power of keeping things SIMPLE. Our average order value went from $37 to $76 in one single week, just by adding upsells and cross-sells at the right moments throughout the customer journey. Most businesses forget this. They work hard to get that initial sale, but then leave money on the table by not offering the right add-ons or complementary products. What worked for us: -One-click upsells at checkout (that felt like no-brainers.) -Cross-sells after purchase, when customers are still engaged. -Keeping it simple and relevant—not overwhelming the customer with too many options. If you’re not fully utilizing upsells and cross-sells, you’re missing out on easy, low-effort revenue. It’s one of the simplest ways to increase your bottom line without any extra marketing spend. Curious about how you can make this work for your business? (Yep, even if it’s a service-based or coaching business). Let’s chat!

“Why does scaling my business feel like a constant uphill battle?” A lot of founders I work with hit a point where they feel stuck. They’ve grown their business to multiple six figures, but scaling to the next level feels overwhelming. Why? You're probably wearing too many hats—handling operations, leading your team, and still trying to come up with new marketing strategies. You’re the CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, and more. You can’t scale without a little help from your friends. It's not about working harder or doing more—it's about bringing leaders who can take the reins for you, so you can elevate yourself to that visionary role you’re meant to do. Like they say, you’re only one hire away from all the growth you seek. What’s the one hire you need today, that would give you back your time and allow you to focus on your next-level activities?

How to build a business: #1. Make sure there’s demand (the easiest way to do this is by selling something that people are ALREADY buying, by the way. You can also pre-sell) #2. Create systems for both sales and delivery #3. Hire people to run those systems #4. Coach your people, manage the cash, improve the systems Is there something you’d add?

To scale an online business, you used to need only two things: 1) Traffic 2) Conversion But things are changing. Nowadays, you need a third thing: RETENTION. Repeat buyers are what compound and bring real profits. When it comes to ecommerce, there’s nothing I’ve found to do this better than email marketing + online communities. With community-based emails, you’re not just sending offers—you’re building relationships, nurturing trust, and creating a sense of belonging. Suddenly, you’re part of a bigger conversation, and your brand stands as a true market leader. This leads to repeat business and higher lifetime value, and it’s what I’m working towards with my brand. What are you focused on right now—traffic, conversion, or retention?

3 copywriting tips I actually used this week: (As a Copychief with 4 years of experience) ✍️ Start everything with a hook The hook should: -Call out your audience -Address your audience's pain points or desires -Create curiosity/catch attention At least one of those! See the start of this post. What kind of hook is it? ✍️ Be specific Instead of saying “Build a thriving relationship”, say: “Reclaim the way she used to look at you.” The more specific AND visual you can be, the better. ✍️ Use strong calls to action Don’t be bland. Tell people exactly what to do. Instead of saying “Join me for this workshop”, say: “CLICK THE LINK TO SAVE YOUR SPOT.” Don’t be cute with your CTAs. Your audience will appreciate it!

Want to acquire a business? In my experience, the fastest way to do it is partnerships. When you hone your expertise and become ultra-valuable to businesses, you can: ✔️ Create “equity deals” where you get paid totally or partially through equity ✔️ Enjoy the profitability of a business - without having to manage it ✔️ Turn your knowledge into wealth (not just income) This is the fastest way I’ve found to go from freelancer to business owner & investor. Have you ever tried partnering with business owners? What worked well and what didn’t?
