📄🔬Medical device sterilizers are faced with major challenges in monitoring and controlling indoor fugitive ethylene oxide (EtO) emissions, particularly as they grapple with recent changes in the EPA’s EtO NESHAP and FIFRA regulations. Effective management of EtO fugitive emissions is particularly challenging because of the absence of proven products and methodologies to address EtO levels in the 0.1-10 ppm range in the workplace.
