The 2024 Small Business Anti-Displacement Network Summit on Community Ownership is now open for registration! Join them November 14th. What to expect: The virtual, day-long summit will focus on long-term solutions that allow community members and stakeholders to control commercial assets, land, and enterprises. Community ownership can provide stability for small businesses and keep them in place in gentrifying neighborhoods. Come explore individual and collective ownership models that support BIPOC- and immigrant-owned small businesses and help them stay in place, including commercial cooperatives, community land trusts, community investment trusts, and commercial property acquisition funds. Hear from small business advocates, policymakers, and other stakeholders involved in community ownership efforts across the United States and abroad! They’ll discuss policy priorities, outline how to advance community ownership at multiple scales, and get insights from SBAN case study authors and working group members. They’ll also provide opportunities for networking. Register now ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eHVZKq7c
