About us
Pillen Family Farms is a multi-generational Nebraska-based family agribusiness company. Our daily commitment is to produce high-quality pork while protecting the environment and promoting animal welfare. Many factors contribute to the success of our farms, however, our people are the key. Our farms are composed of high value people who are committed to our core principles: 1) Do what is right. 2) Do the best you can. 3) Treat others the way you want to be treated. Our farms support local economies and annually purchase 14 million bushels of corn out of the field and from cooperatives. If planted in a twelve row strip, this would be enough corn to make over a complete circle around the globe. Annually, we produce enough pork to feed over 13 million people.

Last month, team members Jeff Heinrich and Natalie Rose accepted the 2024 Pacesetter Company recognition award from the Columbus Area United Way on behalf of Pillen Family Farms and DNA Swine Genetics. We are proud to support the work of the Columbus Area United Way to improve the education, health and financial sustainability of our local communities.

Part of being a local family-owned business is giving back to the communities where we work and live. This past weekend, we partnered with the Howard County Medical Center to help support their annual golf tournament. All proceeds from the event went to their new Wellness Center project.
