It was an honor to join the Nebraska Flyover FinTech Cybersecurity panel hosted by Congressman Mike Flood and moderated by Senator Eliot Bostar. The collaboration between public and private sectors is crucial in safeguarding consumers, businesses, and national security from deepfakes in financial scams and disinformation. As Generative AI (GenAI) advances, the need to utilize Good AI to counter Bad AI becomes increasingly pressing. Deepfake detection technologies play a vital role in this battle. While deepfakes require precision, detection only needs one mistake to unveil them, making our deepfake detectors significantly more cost-effective compared to the generators. The key to success lies in fostering more public-private partnerships like this to proactively defend against the escalating threat of deepfakes. Let's continue working together to protect what matters most. #Cybersecurity #AI #Deepfakes #Partnerships
