🍻 Pint of Science Besançon - 2024 Edition is the largest science communication festival in the world. (https://pintofscience.fr/) 📅 May 13-15, 2024 🕢 Starting at 7:30 PM 📍 Bars in Besançon (locations to be announced soon) 🎉 Join us for three captivating evenings of casual scientific discussions over a pint! 🌐 🔬 Calling all doctoral candidates from Franche-Comté: Participating in Pint of Science counts as training hours! If you'd like to lead a session, it's a great opportunity to accumulate hours while sharing your research passion. Contact us directly via our LinkedIn page. 💼 Training Hours: Participants can log their attendance as training hours. Doctoral candidates can also accrue hours by leading a session. 👩🔬 Event Format: We organize themed evenings in bars or cafes around the city to demystify scientific research. Each night features two researchers presenting their work in a layman's language (approximately 20 minutes each), followed by an interactive Q&A with the audience. During the break, enjoy a general knowledge quiz with goodies for the winners.
