We recently presented checks to sponsor three wonderful fall events in our community! The Capital District YMCA Teal Pumpkin Party, Colonie Chamber of Commerce Harvest Fest, and Saratoga Bridges, NYSARC, Inc., Saratoga County Chapter 24th Annual Great Pumpkin Challenge. These family-fun events all benefit great causes, from allergen-friendly Halloween celebrations to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The business hadn’t received a loan since it opened, until applying for Pioneer’s Express Small Business Lending program, which allocated less than $40,000 to purchase the new grape press and pump."

Pioneer’s first annual Cornhole Tournament – Tossing for a Cause made for an exciting evening of friendly competition in our HQ parking lot this week! Congratulations to our champions John Ewalt and Ed Salsburg for clinching the title in a thrilling final match. And let’s not forget our Consolation Bracket winners, Emily Russell and David Taormina, who triumphed over 15 other teams! Together, we raised over $3,000 for the Pioneer Charitable Foundation, which wouldn't be possible without our incredible employees. Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, and supported this amazing event. #AllTogetherForward

Our School Supply Drive collection ends this Friday, August 16th! Join us in providing essential supplies for children heading back to school. Donations for the School Supply Drive can be dropped off at any one of our 22 branches to support back to school programs at Capital City Rescue Mission, Rensselaer County Department of Youth, and Saratoga County Children's Committee. Needed items include: • Wide Rule - Composition notebooks • Wide Rule – Loose leaf paper • Wide Rule - Spiral notebooks • Bottles of glue • Self-contained pencil sharpeners • Pocket folders (5 colors) • 3x3 post-it notes • Blunt & Pointed scissors • Markers • Colored Pencils • Index cards

That's a wrap on our 2024 intern program! Our interns capped off the summer with a celebration at Druther's in Clifton Park, enjoying great food, playing cornhole, and reflecting on their achievements with our Executive Team. We can't wait to see what they do next! #FutureLeaders #InternLife

Yesterday marked a significant milestone for our summer interns at Pioneer as they presented their final projects to the Executive Team! Each presentation was impressive, reflecting the invaluable, hands-on experience they gained across multiple departments within our organization. We're incredibly proud of everything they've accomplished this summer!
