#FacesofPCS are back! Meet Ms. Wanda Bingaman, Media & Technology Assistant at Hope Middle School 📔 From Boonville, NC, to Hope Middle School, Ms. Wanda Bingaman’s journey has been full of adventure and passion for teaching. Ms. Bingaman graduated from East Carolina University in 1997 with a BS in Health Education (Minor in English and a Concentration in Middle Grades). She started teaching in 1998 (7th grade ELA/SS at Wellcome Middle School). After traveling the world with her Air Force husband, she returned to Greenville in 2014 and found her perfect role at Hope Middle School. Ms. Bingaman loves nothing more than talking about books with students and colleagues. As she says, “I LOVE being able to talk about reading and books with the students and staff all day and every day.” Her role as a Media and Technology Assistant allows her to share her passion for reading every day. When she’s not at school, Ms. Bingaman enjoys cruising with her husband and spending time with her sons, Ryan and Bryson. Ryan is stationed with the USAF in Florida (DHC class of 2021), and Bryson is studying at Pitt Community College (DHC class of 2024). We’re lucky to have Ms. Bingaman’s enthusiasm and expertise at PCS! 📚 #MeetPCS #PCS #greenvillenc

PITT COUNTY SCHOOLS reposted this
Educators across the state came to East Carolina University to enhance their STEM teaching strategies during the Engineering and Technology Symposium: Pathways to Enhance K-12 STEM Education. My best friend Chris Young was in attendance and raved about how amazing it was! Beyond the ECU College of Engineering and Technology, support for the conference included STEM East, PITT COUNTY SCHOOLS, the NORTH CAROLINA SCIENCE MATHEMATICS AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION CENTER, Cypress Creek Renewables, and Minges Bottling Group.
