“Nora represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring a high-character mixed-use district to West Palm Beach,” says Joe Furst, founder and managing principal of Place Projects. “We’ve brought together a dynamic, best in class partnership to maximize Nora’s potential in a way that honors architectural preservation and answers the demands of the rapidly growing downtown.”
NDT Development and Place Projects are proud to announce a strategic partnership with Wheelock Street Capital for the development of Nora, a high-character mixed-use district in West Palm Beach. The first phase of the project will focus on North Railroad Avenue, where the development team will repurpose several former industrial buildings and create over 150,000 square feet of distinct commercial space. The development team will also significantly enhance the public realm by upgrading the underground infrastructure, beautifying the streetscape, and building a linear park. The first phase of the project is scheduled to break ground in May of this year and estimated to be completed by Q4 of 2023. Upon completion, North Railroad Avenue will be transformed into a lively, pedestrian-friendly destination containing best-in-class dining, shopping, creative office, and fitness tenants, and will become an unparalleled amenity for both downtown West Palm Beach and the greater Palm Beach County. Future phases of the project will include multifamily, office, retail, and boutique hotel development between 10th Street and Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard.
