🌍 Last week, the executive committee of Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) (Torunn Reksten, Karin Hansson, Nicole Watkins Campbell, and I) gathered in Oslo for an inspiring session on our strategy for the next five years. It's always incredible how, as volunteers from all over the world, driven by our passion for clear communication, we can collaborate so seamlessly. 💪 We are incredibly grateful for the invaluable input we received from our members, network, and fantastic fellow board members. 🙏 It was also rewarding to successfully apply Betteke van Ruler's strategic method on an international level. Tomorrow I have my second board meeting for Plain Language Association International (PLAIN), where I'm chair of the Conference committee and a member of the Professional Development committee. I also have my first meeting as a member of the Resources and Training committee of the International Plain Language Federation (IFPL).
