We're thrilled to be part of PDX airport's stunning main terminal renovations. 120-foot-long Planar #LED #videowalls deliver the technology behind PDX's new "Extraordinary Windows" - a digital art installation showcasing the natural beauty of where Planar calls home.
Watch closely and you might see butterflies around a misty waterfall or an Oregon cowboy at the new PDX. These 120-foot-long video walls above the security checkpoints are ever-changing digital canvases that spotlight the region’s natural beauty while bringing calm to your travels. From how light hits the forest to the texture of the Painted Hills at sunset, our creative partners at dotdotdash and Half Sister Studio digitally recreated six stunning imaginary landscapes. The scenes shift based on the time of day, weather, and even how many people are traveling through PDX. This 24-hour art installation will also include digital artwork by local artists and artists exploring the PNW. First up is local Ivan McClellan’s video vignettes filmed in Leslie Gulch, OR that feature powerful portraits of Black cowboy culture. Read more: https://lnkd.in/ddPREhBf
