So what are the differences between CORRTEC® Vintec® Type II and Type I PVC? At first glance, they're both an impact and corrosion-resistant PVC sheet, which is why they're preferred for industrial applications and where chemical and corrosion resistance is needed. But the key difference to keep in mind is that CORRTEC Type II is highly impact-resistant, so the product can endure shock and physical abuse, and can be cold rolled. Examples of usage include junction boxes, transitions, chemical processing equipment, and electrical cabinets. CORRTEC Type I has a normal impact resistance and is suited for industrial applications where maximum chemical defense is necessary. Examples of usage include acid baths, pool components, plating tanks, and laboratory workstations. PLASKOLITE recently had the opportunity to give back to the Olive Branch Community's Mississippi Dept. of Child Protective Services for Desoto County's Backpack and School Supply Drive. After PLASKOLITE reached out to see what other supplies were needed, team members went straight to Walmart and gathered notebooks, folders, paper, glue sticks, colored pencils, and more to be donated. Summer is coming to an end and that means waving farewell to our interns that we had the pleasure of working with for the past few months at our Ohio location.
