This year's Halloween Dracula's Ball was a gala to die for! 🎃🧛♂️ How did the team come up with this theme? The elegance of Dracula, a character known for charm and sophistication, captured our imaginations. We envisioned an event encouraging guests to dress up in costumes or formal attire: stunning gowns, tuxedos, and bow ties. The allure of a grand ball, complete with a proper table setting, seemed like the perfect way to celebrate Halloween at the Club. Last Friday, Barefoot Cafe successfully opened its doors for the season. 🍔 🥗 It was wonderful to see Members enjoying the new menu items and welcoming our returning staff. It was also a day full of energy with our new internationals, who are truly happy to be at Polo. Eltania joined the Club two years ago as a Hostess while attending Broward College. She quickly took the initiative to learn more and is constantly thinking of new ways to innovate or revamp procedures to help the service as a whole. 🏆 Congratulations to our category winners, Andreea Manila, Polo's Lead Esthetician, who received the award in the Fitness/Spa category, and Idalmis Santiago, Polo's Housekeeping supervisor, who won the Housekeeping category. Congratulations to our new Rising Champion Alisha Goldstein and her promotion to Bakery Supervisor. 🍞 👏 🥐 Alisha joined the Bakery team in December of last year. Immediately, she showed a genuine love for beadwork and an appreciation for the details that make great breads and croissants. Alisha is someone the team can depend on and trust when it comes to execution. She has no problem taking initiative to progress the development of the needs for the day, and she loves to share her knowledge with her fellow bakers. Alishia plays a key role in the advancement of the bread program here at the club and she often seeks out opportunities for her continued development.
