This week at Chicken HQ the Founder of The Burnt Chef Project, Kris Hall, hosted our final Lunch and Learn session for 2024. The Burnt Chef Project was the first mental health support charity set up specifically to support hospitality workers. Here's a look at the topics covered in the session ⬇️: 🧡 Importance of wellbeing and why focusing on wellbeing is crucial for leaders and their teams. 🔥 Understanding burnout and recognising signs and symptoms of burnout in oneself and others. 🙏 Self-Care strategies, focusing on practical tips and techniques for managing stress and maintaining personal well-being. ⚡ Leadership and empathy techniques for leading with empathy and understanding were shared with the team. 🔄 Creating a supportive environment, focusing on how to foster a workplace culture that promotes wellbeing. A big thank you to Kris Hall MIH and The Burnt Chef Project for a very insightful and valuable few hours, with many takeaways for our teams to implement into their work life. 👏

We’ve officially landed in Belfast🔥 2 weeks ago, we officially touched down in Belfast and y’all showed up BIG TIME! 10/10 vibes and the biggest queue since we landed in the UK back in 2021. 🙌 Not only did we bring the flavour of New Orleans, but we’ve also brought nearly 100 new jobs to the local community.
