If a sportscar could talk, how might it respond if you asked where it feels most at home? Most are driven on the road, but if you were to quiz a Porsche, perhaps it might say the racetrack. Going all the way back to the unveiling of the first ever #Porsche in 1948, the 356, racing’s influence is a significant element of the company’s DNA. And the greatest challenges of all for any driver, amateur or professional, are the world’s elite racetracks – those unique pieces of real estate that have held Grand Prix, past and present. Here, speed, adrenaline and driving skills merge into a unique experience. There’s even a special Porsche Paint To Sample colour named after these tracks – Grand Prix White. We grabbed a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and 718 Cayman GT4 RS in Grand Prix White and headed off to find out more about how you can drive on the world’s greatest racetracks with the Porsche Track Experience. There's always time for a cute family picture. Here, the #Porsche 992-gen 911 Dakar is posing next to the 911 Carrera 3.2 4x4 Paris-Dakar, which served as inspiration for Porsche to develop the first off-road Porsche 911 for series production in 2022. And as these two are particularly known for having fun on tricky terrain, perhaps it's better to get them together before they hit the sand. __ 911 Dakar (WLTP): Fuel consumption combined: 11.3 l/100 km; CO₂ emissions combined: 256 g/km; CO₂ class: G; Status 07/2024

Turbo has become a life philosophy. Giving it all; demonstrating what’s possible. The term has entered common parlance, representing a benchmark. In Germany, there is the “Turbo-Abitur” or fast-track high school diploma. Self-help guides explain how to turbocharge your business, productivity, self-awareness, and so on. It’s a powerful word, a word that really packs a punch. A Turbo even defies the old adage that you cannot live on love and fresh air alone. Oh yes you can. And where, if not in Paris? “It’s the classic story – like most kids, I had a poster on my wall. Mine was a 911 GT3 RS in Lizard Green with the Weissach package and its carbon fibre bonnet. I’ve always loved green, and it was so cool to see such a bold, sporty car that you could race but was also at home on the road. It was such a statement car. “Whenever I went on holiday with my family, I was allowed to choose a magazine for the road – and I always chose car ones. Porsche was everywhere in those magazines, so it wasn’t hard to fall in love.” Photographer Livia on her inspirational career and what’s it like to drive the fastest all-electric production Porsche (as of June 2024) ever built: https://lnkd.in/eKgTTfRQ __ Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package (WLTP): Electric energy consumption combined: 21,3 - 20,6 kWh/100 km; CO₂ emissions combined: 0 g/km; CO₂ class: A, status: 07/2024

Weiterlesen: https://lnkd.in/eMeBzpXj
