AN EPIC RETURN: Norwegian Epic returned to Port Canaveral today to kick off her winter season of cruises to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. Following a three-day Bahamas cruise departing this afternoon, the 4,100-passenger vessel will offer a series of week-long voyages visiting tropical destinations like Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), St. Thomas, Tortola and its private island of Great Stirrup Cay. 🟢PORT CANAVERAL IS OPEN: As of 11:30 AM, the U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port has set Port Condition Four for Port Canaveral. The Port is OPEN with NO restrictions. Waterside and landside operations are normal. ⚠️PORT CONDITION STATUS UDPATE: The Canaveral Port Authority has conducted an initial assessment following the passage of Hurricane Milton. Port roadways are accessible. Please exercise caution when returning to the Port. WATERSIDE OPERATIONS: At this time, all waterside and vessel shoreside operations remain at Condition ZULU (i.e., remain CLOSED) until channel surveys are conducted and evaluations of vessel restrictions can be completed. LANDSIDE OPERATIONS: For landside operations, the Port is now OPEN. Port Canaveral tenants and businesses may return to the Port to evaluate their premises and resume operations when safe to do so. Please continue to exercise caution.
