Each year, we gather for a summer service day in honor of the late Trail Blazers alumni Jerome Kersey and his dedication to the community. In collaboration with SOLVE, our staff were thrilled to join the JK25 Foundation, and our Racial Equity Project partners on our summer clean up event to help beautify our community around the Moda Center.

We are more than just a basketball team, we are the heart of Rip City! Each summer we go from the courts to the community attending various celebrations and festivals in Portland. We kicked off the summer grooving to the beats six incredible DJs to celebrate Black Music Month at our Rip City Vibes, joined the Juneteenth Oregon celebration of freedom and reveled in the vibrancy of Hispanic & Latinx culture at Latino Cultural Fest. Relive the excitement through the eyes of fans, staff and NBA HBCU Fellows - Aliya Everett (Florida A&M University) and Deion Lewis (Tennessee State University). Catch all the action and fun in Episode 1 – watch now and visit trailblazers.com/summer to learn more about the Rip City Summer Series and join the summer fun!
