Summer is here, and so is the 2024 Olympics! 🏅 From July 26 to August 10, join us for a series of watch parties and fun activities for all ages throughout the building, including free face painting, balloon artists, and an Olympic podium for photo opportunities. Adding more fun to the summer, we’ll also have Olympic-themed movie nights at POST Market and Z Atrium, as well as Neon Foam Parties at Skylawn, our rooftop garden. We are deeply grateful to our Facilities Director, Jeffrey Quintanilla, SMA, and his dedicated team, as well as the janitorial team from Promise Total Services, Inc. Their hard work and commitment since Sunday night allowed us to restore our building quickly after Hurricane Beryl's impact. A special thanks also to our food hall staff for their efforts in getting everything ready, which helped us open our doors to the public yesterday afternoon. POST has now resumed regular hours today, 7/10. Tonight, we will be streaming the Copa America Semifinal - Uruguay vs. Colombia on our food hall LED screens. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you! 💙

A flashback📸 Did you know? POST is a national historic landmark. This building was once Houston’s U.S. Post Office headquarters. An important part of the redevelopment of the building was the preservation of unique historic features. As it once was, the post office will remain a public building, but further enhanced to create a new openness and a gathering place for Houston. 🌿 Wellness is finding balance in the sky. 🧘♀️ Highlighted as one of the six thriving restored historic post office buildings by Texas Monthly recently, POST breaks the big box and creates space for public engagement and collaboration. "Skylawn boasts the one-acre Skyfarm, a sustainable garden where visitors harvest organic produce every Wednesday, as well as a covered event venue, meditative walking paths, and plenty of room for picnics and yoga classes." ⚽️We’re teaming up with Andes Cafe to present CONMEBOL Copa America 2024 programming at POST. The 7 countries whose cuisines are represented by Andes Cafe will be playing in the tournament! 🇦🇷🇧🇴🇨🇱🇨🇴🇪🇨🇵🇪🇻🇪(Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela) From now until July 14, we’ll be hosting watch parties for most of the games on our Jumbo LED screens in POST Market.
