We envision a world where everyone has control over their bodies.
About us
Power to Decide is a national non-profit, non-partisan organization. At Power to Decide, we envision a world where everyone—no matter who they are or where they live—has control over their bodies and can decide if, when, and under what circumstances to get pregnant and have a child. Our mission is to advance sexual and reproductive well-being for all, with a particular focus on abortion and contraception. We accomplish this by providing trusted information, expanding access to quality services, and catalyzing culture change.

This Veterans Day, let’s honor those who serve by ensuring military families have access to the health care they need. Many people who rely on TRICARE—the health insurance plan for service members and their families—still have to pay out-of-pocket for birth control. It’s time for change.
