🌟 Spotlight on Stefan Skoog from Alvier Mechatronics We are glad to announce that Stefan Skoog from Alvier Mechatronics will be joining us as a speaker at our upcoming conference! Stefan will be presenting: "Automated High-Fidelity System Model Generation of Traction Machines Using JMAG." In his presentation, Stefan will reveal an innovative methodology for transforming a single-case setup advanced JMAG FEA-model into a high-fidelity system model, ready for use in commercially available system modelling tools like Matlab/Simulink. This approach is particularly relevant for advanced traction machines used in road vehicles, where dynamic speed-torque interactions and complex operational demands are critical. Stefan will demonstrate how to streamline the pre-processing of a JMAG model, enabling faster analysis through parallelization, and will cover the use of FEM to accurately capture the dynamics of non-linear loss factors across the entire speed-torque operating range. Attendees will also gain insights into a comprehensive post-processing framework that automates multi-dimensional, non-linear regression, resulting in a high-fidelity system model that delivers precise machine performance predictions. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in system model generation and how they can be applied to optimize traction machine design. Our ECCE 2023 paper "Influence of symmetric BH loop fluctuations on hysteresis loss by Play model" that JSOL wrote is now available on IEEE Xplore: https://lnkd.in/g6THSzNq This study investigates the robustness of the Play model with errors in input data. The Play model can replicate minor loops and calculate hysteresis loss using FEM analysis. Its accuracy depends on the measurement quality of the symmetric BH loops in the input data. Actual measurements may produce noise and uncertainties due to the measurement quality, so some fluctuations should be accepted. Consequently, it is important to understand the influence of fluctuation on the resulting minor loops. #JMAG #BHloops #PlayModel #hysteresisLoss #measurement JMAG WEB MEMBER (free membership) Registering as a "JMAG Web Member" allows you to use JMAG-Express Online (Motor Design Tool), which enables the ability to design motors online and view selected materials. https://lnkd.in/gTE2q3h5
