We are supporting the development and launch of an exciting digital learning tool by our long-term partner Centrum JongerenCommunicatie Chemie (C3). While designing paint factories, students make decisions and compromises, revealing the cost and sustainability consequences of their choices. The lesson aligns with the chemistry curriculum for students aged 14-15 and can be used in a classroom setting by chemistry teachers. “This lesson is a perfect tool to introduce students to the complexities of sustainability. To provide insight and inspiration for our customers on automotive color trend and styling directions, our Automotive OEM Coatings global styling team launched its annual color report. Drawing from our PPG 2025 Color of the Year, Purple Basil, the report and accompanying color show features an array of 40 exterior body colors, exterior auto part stylings and wheel stylings tailored to the evolving preferences of consumers. “We believe consumers are ready for more color, and the desire for personalized experiences through color continues to drive innovation,” said Misty Walker Yeomans, our color styling manager, Americas, Automotive OEM Coatings. “The desire for different textures, finishes, and effects continues to grow and change too. After a school in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, was impacted by severe flooding, our employee volunteers and local residents came together to revitalize the school as part of our COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® program. Using more than 500 liters of our Renner Paints by PPG, volunteers brought new and vibrant colors to the classrooms, courtyards and hallways, creating a more welcoming environment for students. Volunteers also renovated the playground area and added a mural created by a local artist.
