The next decade will see significant advancements in lung cancer screening, driven by increased adherence, the establishment of formal screening programs across institutions, and the development of advanced technologies. As the medical community continues to innovate, we anticipate a future where lung cancer screening is integrated into routine care, on par with breast and colorectal screenings. In this future, early detection and improved patient outcomes will become standard practice, ultimately reducing the burden on both patients and the healthcare system. As we move forward, these advancements will turn hopeful goals into achievable realities, setting new standards in patient care and healthcare efficiency.
