Today, we want to celebrate our newest Premier Health "DifferenceMaker" Isabella Willis. Isabella is a Medical Assistant and is part of our affiliated St. Francis Urgent Care team in Monroe, LA. She said as long as she can remember, she's always wanted to be in healthcare, especially in roles that allow her to interact with patients. "I love what I do and put my all into everything. It's so important to listen to patients and understand where they're coming from." We appreciate everything Isabella does for her patients, and we know they do, too. This past weekend, Premier Health and our joint venture urgent care clinics celebrated Wear Pink Weekend to for Breast Cancer Awareness month! Team members from our clinics wore their favorite pink accessories or outfits to show their support for survivors, and to encourage those who are currently fighting. Premier Health team member Anna Maria Melendez with Hendrick Urgent Care in Abilene, TX was a board member for the local "Bunco for Breast Cancer" event, which Hendrick Urgent Care also sponsored. This event helped benefit the Hope Fund which was established in 2001 by our urgent care partner, Hendrick Health, and helps breast cancer prevention measures in the community. This year's "Bunco" event was Roaring 20's themed and had over 1700 participants! To use a 20's phrase, we think Anna is just "the bee's knees" and are so grateful to her and her team for the amazing work they do in their community.
