Premier Transportation Welcomes Rob Reeve as the New Vice President of Logistics Premier Transportation is excited to announce the appointment of Rob Reeve as the new Vice President of Logistics. With a robust career spanning 27 years in the transportation industry, Rob brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to the Premier Transportation team. Rob began his career in transportation right out of college, starting with a small local LTL company. His journey then took him to CR England, where he gained valuable experience in the refrigerated sector before transitioning to the dry van industry. Rob’s most significant tenure was with CRST, where he not only managed Mexico operations but also served as Vice President of Sales and spearheaded the brokerage sales division. Fluent in Spanish, Rob has spent the past 17 years in Texas, a state he proudly calls home. Texas, known as a freight mecca, continues to attract numerous freight corporations, making it a strategic location for Premier Transportation. Rob’s passion for the transportation industry and his personal alignment with Premier Transportation's values make him a perfect fit for the company. His goal is to retire with Premier, focusing on growing and enhancing the brokerage division to support the company's assets and provide exceptional resources to customers. Rob looks forward to making a significant impact and contributing to Premier’s continued success. Dennis wouldn't agree to a picture but that won't stop us from sharing his story. Dennis is a testament to loyalty, dedication, and the unique culture that sets Premier Transportation apart. A Career Built on Excellence Dennis's journey to Premier Transportation wasn't a direct one. He worked several other jobs before finding his place here, and he’s quick to say that Premier is the best company he's ever worked for. "They always take care of you," Dennis shared, reflecting on the numerous bonuses and incentives that have made his 20-year tenure not just possible but enjoyable. "It's these little things that make you want to stay and work for Premier." A Culture of Recognition Recognition and appreciation are cornerstones of Premier Transportation's culture. Dennis highlights this after speaking with Bill Laing, the Executive VP of Operations, who has been with the company for 21 years. "How many companies can say they have employees who have stayed for 20 plus years?" Dennis asks, emphasizing the deep sense of community and acknowledgment that Premier fosters. Balancing Work and Family However, the journey hasn't been without its sacrifices. Dennis candidly spoke about the time he's missed with his family due to the demands of being a driver. As he looks ahead, he hopes to spend more time at home, confident that Premier will accommodate his needs. "Do the job, and Premier will keep you around. It's about security," Dennis says, underscoring the company's commitment to its employees.
