This opportunity to contribute to the mission of strengthening Memphis' transit system is one I take seriously, and I am grateful for Mayor Paul Young and the City Council for their trust and confidence. Public transportation is much more than a means of transportation; it's a vital lifeline for many! It's also critical to our city's growth as it shapes economic opportunity, supports small business sustainability, and provides access to essential resources across our community.
