Lindsey Kaszuba didn’t want to do TV. We peer-pressured her into it. But when you push someone to do something worthwhile that could change their business or life, isn’t it more like hyping them up? See, Lindsey Kaszuba had all these fantastic health hacks for moms, but the thought of stepping in front of the camera? Nope. She was ready to pass. Here’s the thing: when people say, “I’m not ready yet,” about a new business move or press opportunity, they often mean, “This scares me a little bit because it’s new and uncomfortable.” The good news? Lindsey took the plunge. Spoiler alert: she SLAYED her segment and was bitten by the TV press bug. 👉 HOW DID IT HAPPEN (in a matter of WEEKS) Remember, this was Lindsey’s first TV press appearance, AND she booked it herself (with a bit of DIY PR support, thanks to her membership at Press for Success ) ⚡️ Lindsey’s tips were specific and timely. Not just “I can share wellness tips.” When you want to increase your chances of booking press, be specific about the exact topic you’re pitching and examples of the tips you’ll share. “Back to School Healthy Lunch Hacks” is an elevated version of “ Wellness Tips” . It’s also timely, so she’ll get the segment sooner if it books! ⚡️ She didn’t just send a pitch and say her prayers. Lindsay followed up and followed the @pressforsuccess Method, and faster than she could say, “I wonder if they’ll answer?” she was booked—for the very next day! ⚡️ Lindsey gave herself a chance. She didn’t say, I can’t do this; it isn’t for me, or “I quit because this feels uncomfortable.” Oh no, she said, “Let’s try it!” ✨ Moral of the story: Sometimes, leaning into discomfort is how you are seen, connect with your people, + build your authority, business, + impact. And if you need a little peer pressure - I mean HYPING - to do it, this is the place! Need a nudge in the direction of the press? Let me know in the comments section, or DM me.

Good things come to those who wait - even if that wait is 6 months! We're thrilled to share that our client Lisa Collum, founder of Coastal Middle & High School, knocked it out of the park on Good Morning America last week. Lisa spoke passionately about her mission to support teachers balancing work and motherhood by providing on-site daycare. This interview was the result of persistence and patience. We’ve been behind over 25 female founder stories for Good Morning America alone in the past few years, and the path to each “hit” is different. We first pitched Lisa's innovative approach back in February, followed up multiple times, moved on to other angles, and finally got the call from GMA end of July. Lisa's professionalism shone through as she jumped at the opportunity to share her story with very little time to prep. Some key highlights from Lisa's interview with hosts Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan: • Lisa nearly quit teaching 19 years ago after having her first child, but her principal convinced her to stay by opening an on-site daycare • Now as a school owner herself, Lisa offers the same solution to retain teachers • She hopes to inspire other educators and schools to think outside the box and implement similar solutions to support working mothers Lisa's story shows how unconventional solutions can make a huge impact. We're proud to work with visionaries like her who are changing education for the better. This success reinforces an important lesson for all PR pros - never give up on a story you know in your gut is great. Your persistence may lead to an amazing opportunity when you least expect it!
