What: Donate a package of new, white, adult-sized mid-calf socks When: Anytime during Pri-Med East Where: Drop your socks in the donation box and add your name to the box labeled “Exhibitors.” Prizes: Each donation earns you a chance to win a $50 Starbucks Gift Card! For people experiencing homelessness, the need for new, white socks is critical. Spending hours on their feet, walking as their primary mode of transportation and exposed to extreme weather conditions, too often the people served by BHCHP face painful infections and avoidable health complications when unable to access new, clean socks. Let's step up together for a cause that warms feet—and hearts!

A heartfelt thanks goes out to all the volunteers from our team who dedicated their time at the Greater Boston Food Bank! We spent the morning unloading shipments of nonperishable food donations and assembling family meal boxes. In just a three-hour shift, we created 9,000 meals, sustaining a family of four for over two years! We learned that food insecurity in Eastern MA has risen from affecting 1 in 10 families to 1 in 3 since the pandemic.
