As a sales professional, thorough interview preparation is key. Confidently bringing your point of view to the table and being proactive can set you apart, especially in a tough job market. One effective strategy is to draft a 30-60-90 day plan, even if not requested. This demonstrates your interest, preparedness, and research skills. 💡📊 **What to Include in Your 30-60-90 Day Plan: First 30 Days: Focus on onboarding and learning. Understand the company’s products, services, and target market. Build relationships with your team and key stakeholders. 🧑🤝🧑📚 **Next 60 Days: Start applying your knowledge. Develop and refine sales strategies, identify potential leads, and begin outreach efforts. Aim to secure initial meetings and build a pipeline. 📈📞 **Final 90 Days: Execute and optimize. Close deals, measure progress against targets, and adjust strategies as needed. Demonstrate your ability to drive results and contribute to the company's goals. 💪🏆 Benefits: *Shows Initiative: Indicates eagerness to contribute from day one. 🚀 *Demonstrates Research Skills: Highlights your dedication and ability to gather relevant information. 🔍 *Highlights Strategic Thinking: Illustrates your approach to achieving success. 🧠 *Builds Confidence: Better equips you for impactful conversations. 🎤 *Differentiates You: Sets you apart from other candidates with original ideas and leadership potential. 🌟 Taking these steps positions you as a highly motivated and forward-thinking candidate, making you stand out in a competitive job market. 🌟🚀 #Sales #CareerTips #InterviewPreparation #ProactiveApproach #CareerGrowth #SalesProfessional #JobMarket

Fascinating insights here from Stephen Davis and Glenn Kelman at Redfin on the impact of working from home on the economy and its contribution to the soft landing.

    Redfin CEO

Stephen Davis argues that the flexibility to work from home is one reason America has had a soft landing, because workers value convenience over wage increases, but what may be more disinflationary than the amenity value of working from home is the flexibility to live in a lower-cost city: people who move from Manhattan to rural South Carolina are paid less over time, but usually not via a one-time pay cut in 2022, but instead through an absence of pay raises in 2023 and 2024... Here's the paper: https://lnkd.in/gXzBA8-q And here, via Noah Smith, is the key quote: Two extraordinary U.S. labor market developments facilitated the sharp disinflation in 2022-23 without raising the unemployment rate. First, pandemic-driven infection worries and social distancing intentions caused a sizable drag on labor force participation that began to reverse in the first quarter of 2022, and perhaps earlier. As the reversal unfolded, it raised labor supply and reduced wage growth. Second, the pandemic-instigated shift to work from home (WFH) raised the amenity value of employment in many jobs and for many workers. This development lowered wage-growth pressures along the transition path to a new equilibrium with pay packages that recognized higher remote work levels and their benefits to workers.

***The Power of Honesty: Building Strong Business Relationships through Integrity***   In the world of business, integrity isn't just a buzzword—it's the foundation of every strong relationship. 🌟   As professionals, we often face situations where we need to deliver less-than-ideal news to our clients. It’s never easy, but being truthful and honest, even when the message is difficult, is crucial. Here’s why: **Builds Trust: Clients appreciate transparency. When we're honest about challenges, it shows that you value their partnership and are committed to their success, not just your own. **Strengthens Relationships: By being upfront, we foster deeper, more authentic connections. This mutual respect leads to long-term partnerships where both parties can thrive. **Demonstrates Integrity: Upholding high ethical standards, even in tough times, sets you apart. It’s a testament to your character and professional values. **Encourages Growth: Honest feedback, even when it's hard to hear, is essential for improvement. It helps clients make informed decisions and enhances your credibility as trusted advisors. Remember, integrity is the cornerstone of sustainable success. Continue to prioritize honesty in all your client interactions, building a legacy of trust and excellence. 💼🤝   At Prime Team Partners, we live by it.    #Integrity #BusinessRelationships #Honesty #ClientSuccess #Trust #ProfessionalGrowth #Transparency

100K Followers on LinkedIn… THANK YOU. 2350 jobs filled. Over 850 happy customers.   While our minds are a little blown, we do feel it's a moment to reflect on the 19+ year journey, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to new possibilities. To us, every follower gained on LinkedIn represents a connection made through shared interests, industry insights, or compelling open positions that speak to our audience. We're a pretty heads down, limited fluff organization with our eyes constantly trained on providing a great candidate and client experience. We don't have a marketing team, we don't have a podcast, we don't do webinars.... we just recruit really well.   So, what is next for Prime Team Partners? For almost 20 years we’ve focused on technical recruiting for software engineering and IT. This year we’ve opened 2 new verticals that can support GTM Sales/Revenue recruiting and Accounting/Finance needs as well. We continue to evolve to reach a wider audience, and we'll be working on dialing up our thought leadership on this platform as well.   Huge recognition to our fearless leader, Darren Hogben. Endless thanks to our ops pro Tamara Kwak and a big round of applause to our account management and delivery team: Michael Gruenwald, Charanya Neelakanthan, Priscilla D., Tracy Ku, Haley Hammond (Mills), Andrew Kipper, Jane Smith, Mark Bartlett, & Wendy Hellar

🚀 Current Hiring Trends in SaaS Companies: From Growth at All Costs to Cash Conservation and Profitability In the ever-evolving SaaS industry, we are witnessing a significant shift in hiring trends. Over the past decade, the mantra was "growth at all costs," leading to aggressive hiring and expansion strategies. However, the landscape has changed, and companies are now focusing on conserving cash and striving for profitability. This shift is having a profound impact on how SaaS companies hire sales talent. 📉 The Growth-First Era During the growth-first era, SaaS companies prioritized rapid expansion. This approach was driven by: Venture Capital Funding: Startups had the resources to scale quickly. Market Penetration: Companies aimed to capture market share swiftly. Aggressive Targets: Sales teams were pushed to achieve lofty targets, often resulting in high turnover and burnout. 💡 The Shift to Profitability Recent economic uncertainties have led SaaS companies to recalibrate their strategies: Cash Flow Management: Companies are prioritizing cash flow and reducing burn rates. Sustainable Growth: Focus has shifted to sustainable, profitable growth. Efficiency Over Expansion: Hiring practices are now centered on efficiency and effectiveness. 📊 Impact on Hiring Sales People This strategic shift is reshaping the hiring landscape for sales professionals in SaaS companies: Quality Over Quantity: Emphasis on hiring fewer but more experienced and versatile salespeople. Retention Focus: Investing more in the retention and development of existing sales talent. Performance Metrics: Focus on customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling rather than just new customer acquisition. 📈 Data Insights Gartner: 2023 saw a 15% decrease in new sales hires as companies focused on optimizing existing teams. Forrester Research: 72% of SaaS companies prioritize customer success roles. LinkedIn's 2024 Workplace Learning Report: Sales training programs increased by 25%. 🔍 Looking Ahead The future of SaaS hiring is being shaped by a balance between growth and profitability. Companies are becoming more strategic in their hiring practices, seeking sales professionals who drive immediate revenue and contribute to long-term customer success and company sustainability. At Prime Team Partners, we understand these evolving trends and are dedicated to helping SaaS companies navigate this new landscape. Our expertise in recruiting top-tier sales talent ensures our clients are well-equipped to achieve both growth and profitability. 📢 Join the Conversation What trends are you noticing in the SaaS hiring space?
