Today I hung out with HR leaders in Life Sciences to hear how AI [and other things] are impacting the future of work from their point-of-view. I was particularly intrigued with the "Impact of AI for HR Professionals" session today. Here are my key takeaways from that panel: 🖥 They emphasized the importance of understanding AI boundaries, cultural change management, data quality issues, and striking a balance between technology and human touch. 🔍 Organizations really need to create an HR strategy for AI deployment in collaboration with other key departments like IT and Legal to create the guardrails and transparency when using these tools. 🤔 They emphasized building the team AI capabilities, test and learn, and being ok with some risk and failures along your pathway to building these competencies. These strategies are in line with my research and how organizations need to take steps in this new way of working. We are all trying to build the plane while it is flying so just get out and try the tools/platforms. This is just the first step in a major transformation of the ways we work.
