The event was a fabulous night of panel discussions with our artists and networking with our fellow community. Spotlight Artist of the Week: Susan Magnano Our staff at Printique had the pleasure of meeting Susan in our Brooklyn Lab last May when she participated in our 19th Street Gallery Exhibition! The WeCreate Photography Exhibition celebrated 13 femme photographers in the NYC area, and we are honored to have Susan's work on display. Her work caught our eye years ago with her vibrant and luminous light painting techniques, as well as her ability to capture beautiful nightscapes and portraits. After getting her start as a photojournalist, Susan transitioned her skill for capturing moments into shooting events and portraits. As an award-winning photographer with over 15 years of experience, Susan is a respected educator in the industry and now shares her innovative techniques and globally-cultivated perspective on her Photo Adventures. This week at Printique: Our lab welcomes International Visitors to South Slope, Brooklyn. Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting Girish Mhaskar and Salik Bhimani from Phoenix Innovations, who traveled all the way from India to visit our state-of-the-art print lab in Brooklyn, New York. This visit was a valuable opportunity to strengthen our partnership and showcase the innovative work happening at Printique. By bringing our remote collaborators to the office, we foster stronger connections, enhance communication, and create a more collaborative work environment. We believe that face-to-face interactions are essential for building trust, understanding, and a shared vision. Taking place only in South Slope, Brooklyn, New York. Featured Artist: Stephanie Schneider Bio: Stephanie Schneider is a communications professional who works in arts and non-profit spaces. She loves making theater, especially new works, and capturing life with her camera. Stephanie has lived in Greenwood the neighborhood for twelve years and has spent many hours walking the paths of Greenwood Cemetery. She is abundantly thankful for the refuge it offers amidst this busy city. Work description: This Golden Peak was taken on Sycamore Avenue, overlooking Greenwood’s chapel and the New York Bay. It was an October evening just before sunset and when I turned the corner, the light falling across the ridge genuinely took my breath away. Looking back on this image, I am still struck by how a quiet moment in a harvest season feels somehow ferociously alive.
