The hardest part is that older adults are more vulnerable and most often do not seek help. If you suspect or identify someone in your family is experiencing ALL, don't be afraid to act. Become an advocate - be a part of the solution and treat them in the way you hope you will be treated when you are an elder. Consider aligning yourself with a Certified Care Manager who is in the know about all these matters and can guide you toward making the right decisions for your loved one.
