Hubs host events, teach workshops to local students on navigating today's legal and technology landscape, advocate for state- or country-specific policy initiatives, organize fundraisers, and attend lectures from leaders in these fields. If you have any ideas or visions, you can detail it in the form. The Advocacy Hub has several guides and resource starters to help you start a hub at your High School or College. With the recent decisions surrounding women’s health, such as the decision to overturn Roe v Wade, it is crucial that only you are privy to your health and body. Many period tracking apps collaborate with third parties to process and/or sell your identity and data. Needless to say, personal data getting into the wrong hands has the potential to cause trouble for anyone using the app. Privy aims to eliminate this issue by putting you first! By allowing you to choose your privacy level through personalized identification numbers and/or multi-factor authentication, we ensure that no one, including us, has access to your personal data. "The Period." is a part of the PrivyTrack's Advocacy Hub and is a monthly newsletter consisting of personal stories, court cases and legislation on technology policy, data privacy, reproductive healthcare and women’s rights. Even if you do not have a background in journalism/english, we HIGHLY encourage you to submit a piece or join our writing team. You will have the option to publish anonymously. But, if you choose to be recognized for your work, we would be delighted to recognize you and add a short bio about your work. There three categories that your piece could belong to (1) Litigations & Legislations: Informative Briefs on the latest legal developments (cover what the policy is attempting to do; the stakeholders, impacts, links to legislative documents). (2) Personal Narratives: Giving a platform for women to speak up on issues they face. A space to share personal issues with the system. (3) Opinions: Pieces that ignite a fire to keep fighting on the respective issues; bring awareness to a community’s needs; spotlight other state struggles and celebrations.
