November 13 – 19 is Transgender Awareness Week, dedicated to increase the visibility of people who identify as trans and non-binary and to raise awareness of the issues members of the community continue to face. Pro Bono Counseling’s mission is to remove barriers, including discrimination, lack of cultural competence, stigma, financial, and socioeconomic barriers, to ensure all Marylanders have access to the mental health resources they need and deserve.
