As product leaders, aligning resources is incredibly complicated. In our Product Leadership course, we dive deep into what it takes to run a successful product management operation. Today, I thought I’d to share a clip on two critical aspects: obtaining resources and achieving alignment. Plus, I am including a 15% discount code below! Running the product management machine effectively comes down to two key factors: 1. 🛠️ Obtaining Essential Resources:    • Budget allocation    • Headcount for your team    • Customer access for insights    • Data access for informed decisions    • Executive time for support and decision-making 2. 🤝 Achieving Alignment (Inside and Outside Your Team):    • Defining clear roles and responsibilities    • Creating smart organizational structures    • Implementing effective processes    • Establishing consistent communication channels Why does this matter? Because without the right resources, even the best product ideas can falter. And without alignment, your team's efforts might not translate into impactful results. In our course, we don't just talk theory. We provide practical strategies to help you: • Make compelling cases for the resources you need • Design org structures that foster collaboration • Implement processes that drive efficiency • Create communication flows that keep everyone aligned Want to master these skills and more? Join our on-demand Product Leadership course: https://lnkd.in/etG5dfd3. You can also get 15% off using discount code PRODIFY15 if you sign up by October 31st! Another great Prodify Guild session is in the books! For those unfamiliar, the Prodify Guild is a monthly session we hold across our client portfolio, with topics voted on by the community. Thanks to everyone who joined, including a few guests – it’s always great to see new faces in our community. A special shoutout to Beth McHugh, a Prodify consultant, for leading this month's discussion on Jobs To Be Done (JTBD). Beth explained how this framework helps product teams focus on what customers are truly trying to achieve – emphasizing the job rather than just the features. Here are a few key takeaways: ➡️ Focus on the job: Customers hire products to get specific jobs done. Understanding that job is critical for delivering value. ➡️ Stable jobs, evolving solutions: While the jobs customers are trying to accomplish stay the same, the solutions we build to meet those jobs evolve with technology. ➡️ Circumstances matter: The right solution often depends on the customer’s context. Different situations call for different products. JTBD is a powerful tool for aligning product teams, moving beyond feature-centric thinking, and driving innovation by staying focused on real customer needs. Thanks again to everyone who participated! If you’d like to discuss JTBD further or need help applying it, feel free to comment or reach out! #JTBD #ProductManagement #ProductLeadership #CustomerFocus

At Prodify, we believe that the journey of product management should focus on the value delivered to customers and the business, rather than just completing tasks. While many companies believe the same, we have observed how easy it is to get caught in the weeds where teams fall into the trap of launching projects without knowing the impact they have. 🔹 Why Switch to Outcome-Based Roadmaps? The alternative is a roadmap focused on outputs, leading to limited flexibility and innovation. Outcome-based roadmaps, on the other hand, emphasize achieving key results, fostering agility, and empowering teams to deliver value. 🔹 How to Build an Outcome-Based Roadmap: 🧭 Identify Outcomes: Define the value you aim to create for both your business and customers. 📝 Prioritize Ideas: Focus on the changes that will significantly impact those outcomes. 🔍 Evaluate Ideas: Use techniques such as customer discovery, alpha versions, and A/B testing to validate your assumptions. 📈 Measure and Learn: Continuously assess the impact of your releases and be ready to pivot or iterate as needed. 🔹 Key Benefits: ⚡ Agility: Allows you to adapt quickly to new information and changing circumstances. 👥 Customer Focus: Ensure that every product decision enhances customer satisfaction and business success. 🚀 Empowerment: Give your teams the freedom to innovate and experiment with confidence. 🔹 How to Start: 🌱 Start Small: We know many companies aspire to have Outcome-Based roadmaps but don't know how to start since it may be a large change to their current internal processes. 📊 Pilot Program: Pick one team who can operate in this way and use them as a case study. 📚 Document Results: Illustrate the impact that an outcome-based approach can have on your business and customers. #ProductManagement #OutcomeBasedRoadmaps #ProductLeadership

💡 6 Tips for Building a Prototype Using AI with No Coding Skills Every month, we hold sessions across our client portfolio for topics they have voted on. Today's session was on how you, with no coding skills, can build a prototype using AI. One of Prodify's fractional product executives, Jeremy Crane, lead the session to share a fully deployed Testflight app he built with no coding skills and a practical guide for how to get started. Here are 6 tips he shared: 👍 Start Simple: When developing your first prototype, focus on a basic, self-contained app without a server. This approach simplifies the process and keeps costs low. Use the device for storage and processing to avoid complexities associated with server management. 🗓 Use AI for Planning: Before writing any code, use AI tools like Claude to help you create a detailed build plan. By describing your app’s workflow and key experiences, AI can generate a step-by-step plan that guides you through the development process, ensuring you stay organized and focused. 💻 Leverage Claude Sonnet 3.5 for Coding: These AI tools are game-changers for non-technical product leaders. Claude Sonnet 3.5 can write complete files, guide you through the development process, and provide clear explanations, making coding accessible and manageable. 🔄 Iterate and Test Frequently: Use the built-in simulator in development environments like Xcode to test your app frequently. Focus on getting the functionality right first, then polish the user interface. This iterative approach helps catch errors early and ensures a smoother development process. ❓ Ask Questions and Leverage Resources: Don’t hesitate to ask the AI tools questions if you’re unsure about any part of the process. Additionally, utilize platforms like GitHub for version control, which allows you to easily roll back changes and manage your code effectively. ⚡ Deploy Quickly with TestFlight: For iOS apps, TestFlight is a great tool for getting your app into the hands of users quickly with minimal scrutiny. This makes it ideal for testing prototypes and gathering user feedback before going through the more rigorous App Store approval process. Any other tips you would share? Comment below! #productmanagement #ai
