Proficient Auto Transport - The Carrier of Choice Proficient Auto Transport was founded in 1993 as a one-truck, one-client auto transport company. From the beginning, we knew doing things better would be the key to success. It didn’t take long before our reputation for vehicle transport excellence got the attention of the finished vehicle logistics industry and our journey to becoming the Carrier of Choice began. Today Proficient continues along the same growth trajectory. Our executives, Randy Beggs, John Drilling and Brad Childs draw upon their collective 50 + years of finished vehicle industry experience to guide Proficient. Mat Cole and Carlos Herrera did Proficient proud at the 2024 Truck Driving Championship in Daytona this past weekend. Mat placed 1st and Carlos placed 3rd overall in the Car Haul Division of the competition. We could not be prouder of these two. Their commitment to their craft was evident by the results.
