ProFrac began operations in the Permian Basin in September 2016 and the Marcellus/Utica in October of the same year. The vision of ProFrac Services was to again shake up the pressure pumping market by bringing better equipment to market than currently available. Our manufacturing facility sits on 20+ acres and allows ProFrac to build custom designed equipment. Our high pressure pumps are designed with today’s modern longer laterals / multi-well pads in mind. Putting an emphasis on reliability and safety in our equipment has allowed greater up-time leading to better efficiency for our customers. Pump With a Purpose At ProFrac Services, we believe leadership isn’t just about making decisions—it’s about owning them. Recently, members of our corporate leadership teams attended an Extreme Ownership training course at our Cisco, Texas, facility, led by former Navy SEAL Matt Hasby and the team at Echelon Front. This course, inspired by the principles in Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin, reinforced a mindset that is critical to our success in the industry. A few key lessons that resonated with our team: There Are No Bad Teams, Only Bad Leaders – In frac, every crew depends on leadership at all levels. If expectations aren’t met, it’s not just an “individual problem”—leaders must step up, identify the gaps, and take responsibility for improvement. Cover & Move – Just like in combat, frac operations require seamless teamwork between departments—operations, engineering, maintenance, safety, sales, and even marketing. If one group fails, we all fail. When we work together and take ownership beyond just our immediate roles, we win as a team. Discipline Equals Freedom – Whether it’s executing a flawless stage, maintaining equipment, or keeping safety at the forefront, the teams that are the most disciplined are the ones that operate at the highest level. The oil & gas industry is unpredictable, and frac is a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Leaders who embrace Extreme Ownership don’t blame external factors—they adapt, find solutions, and drive their teams forward. We’re proud to bring this leadership mentality into our daily operations.
