Project New Hope’s (PNH) motto is “Where Veterans Rebuild with Honor.” PNH is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit founded in 2011.

About us

PNH was founded in 2011 by a disabled vet with a hands-on board of directors either retired from the military or from military families. We have built up to an annual volume of 6-7 retreats over 3-5 days, and these have become more substantial. In most cases families and children of vets are welcome, with adults attending professionally-facilitated workshops on PTSD, MST, Gold Star & Survivor Retreats, LGBT and Military Couples, Family Health and Wellness. Guided by experts, their children enjoy creative arts and play time with others who experience similar family stress.

Strategic Administrator, The Hanover Insurance Group

It was a wonderful (and busy!) week here in HR at The Hanover Insurance Group. During our 2024 HR Summit we engaged in discussions on technology and the insurance industry, we dove into the progress we’ve made as a department, and we gave back to the community in support of Project New Hope Inc. and Veterans Inc. Not only were we able to learn and grow together, but connecting over a worthy cause brought a deeper meaning to the week for me. Feeling grateful for the opportunities and the friendships afforded to me at this company.

PSA for those struggling with PTS. Check this out… One of the biggest challenges for veterans is trying to find the resources for their specific needs…not because they aren’t available, but because vets don’t always know… 🎯where to look 🎯how to pay for it 🎯Or which one will work best for them So in a silo smashing nature, I’ve found the best of the best and provide the names and contacts of those resources directly to my customers to navigate to, as part of their growth. ✅ One of those resources is a healing retreat run by the veteran owned non-profit called Project New Hope Inc. Everyone who attends this retreat also gets a free round of “The Cortina Method (TCM)”. 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏽🤷♀️“WTH is the Cortina Method, Switch?” 👏 I’m glad you asked - The Cortina Method (TCM), created by Michael Cortina PTSD/Trauma Resolution Expert is a brain-based healing methodology to resolve trauma/PTS and other disturbing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. TCM does this, sometimes in as little as a single visit, WITHOUT the veteran having to relive ANY pain. The next retreats where they'll be offering The Cortina Method are: May 9-13, 2024 June 6-10, 2024 November 7-11, 2024 The link to find out more and register is: https://lnkd.in/g6ffVyu8 Go check it out so you can get awesome and stay awesome… because “You M.A.T.R;” and the world needs you. #veteranshelpingveterans #militarytransition #militaryspouses #militarycommunity #youmatter #pts #ptsd “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” - Helen Keller
